This term at Fish Hoek – Kommetjie – Noordhoek’s Welfare Association, our adult group truly immersed themselves in a variety of meaningful activities. They marked Freedom Day, Mother’s Day, and Valentine’s Day, connecting with those important public holidays and fun days throughout the term.

In addition, they celebrated World Bee Day and explored nature by planting and growing new things. The group enjoyed cooking sessions where they learned to make a stew, practicing skills like peeling potatoes and cutting onions.

Creativity was in full swing with arts and crafts, including origami projects that everyone loved. They also held a raffle that turned out to be a huge success and brought the community together.

Overall, it was a fantastic term filled with social interaction, learning, and lots of fun.
