Our recent trip to the aquarium was more than just a field trip—it was an opportunity for our children with special needs to experience the wonders of the sea, spark curiosity, and create lasting memories.
From the moment they walked through the doors, the children were captivated by the vibrant colours and graceful movement of sea life all around them. Guided by caring staff and supportive volunteers, they were able to touch, see, and explore in ways that brought excitement to their eyes. Whether marveling at schools of fish, or simply enjoying the calm atmosphere of the underwater exhibits, each student was able to connect with the wonders of the ocean in a meaningful way.
The trip was organised by African Blue Tours who co-ordinated with the Cape Town Aquarium to make the day possible. We are also grateful to The Incentive Company who came along as volunteers and assisted with guiding the children around the Aquarium.
We are grateful to the staff at the aquarium for their warm hospitality and commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all learners. This trip was truly a celebration of discovery, joy, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to explore the world around them. These kinds of enriching opportunities remind us of the importance of inclusive education —where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
We look forward to hearing from you – Please join us in supporting those in need.
