Throughout the year, the Western Cape Forum for Intellectual Disability, hosts numerous trainings to assist the different centres.  

On the 23^rd April 2025, Phumla Pali, one of the carers, and Jennifer Stepaniuk, the Physio, from Sinethemba Special Care Centre attended a special training course on feeding tubes and how to best care for our children with complex / additional medical needs.  

We are so grateful to the WCFID for their regular training sessions that they hold that enable us to further our skills at Sinethemba.
