On the 21st March 2025, our Programme Implementer / Occupational Therapist, Tessa Kellerman and our Carer from our Autism class, Nompelo Matamba, held a workshop for the parents of the Sinethemba Children who are diagnosed with Autism. They gave the parents the opportunity to raise their concerns on areas that they are struggling with and then advised them and explained how this type of behaviour is managed at Sinethemba. It was an interactive session where all the parents can come together and realize that they are not alone and can give each other advice and suggestions on things that have worked for them to help their children.
