On the 23rd July 2024, Sinethemba Special Care Centre was blessed to have members of the SA Navy donate their time for Mandela Day to us. They assisted the centre by gardening and clearing out the back area of the school. This was a huge job and we are so grateful for their assistance with this. A huge thank you to Tool Hire who gave us a discounted rate on their trailer so that we could remove the refuse.

They also put together some care packages and treats for the children. The care packages included cloths, toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap. Our teens and young adults also received deodorants and sanitary towels for the girls. The families were so appreciative of these gifts and sent their thanks to all involved.
