On the 19th October 2022, Sinethemba Special Care Centre was visited by a team from False Bay Hospital who were doing some community assistance. The team consisted of a Dietician, Physio, Councilor and a dentist which were all a great need for the children at Sinethemba. The team looked at each child and assessed their teeth and dietary needs. We could then give feedback to the parents so that each child’s needs were met. The Councilor spent some time with the staff to discuss staff burnout. The staff found the information given very useful.
