On the 10th December 2021, we celebrated Christmas at Sinethemba. It was the last day of the year for the children and we ended it on a very festive note. The Fish Hoek Lion’s club arrived with presents for each child at Sinethemba. We sang some beautiful Christmas carols which the children had been practicing for weeks. We were then surprised with a visit from Father Christmas who handed out the gifts to the children.
Due to Covid restrictions and Sinethemba running a staggered shift, some of the children could not be there on that day as it was not their week to attend the centre but that did not stop us spreading the cheer. On Monday the 13th December 2021, our driver and two of our staff members drove around to each child’s house that was not at school and delivered their presents.
