On the 22nd September 2017, our Adult’s with disabilities workshop group held their first art and craft exhibition at Longbeach Mall. The group has been working extremely hard to get ready for this day. They made paintings, sewed cushions, crafted beautiful bowls out of recycled goods and made other incredible pieces of art. Whenever you walk into their workshop, you can see the pride on their faces as they display their work to you. This exhibition was made possible thanks to Gilean Norman, Caroline Boucher and Alana Thirlwell, who run the art’s and crafts classes for the group every Wednesday. We also would like to thank Longbeach Mall for giving us the space and opportunity to show and sell their work to the public.
