On the 12th March 2015 the Association hosted Sinethemba’s Golf Day at the beautiful De Zalze Golf Estate in Stellenbosch. The blazing fires that blazed the whole week in Stellenbosch’s surrounding areas, causing a thick cloud of smoke over Stellenbosch, was brought under control the night before and the 12th March was a beautiful clear day – perfect for golf.
128 Players supported the day, not to mention the wonderful sponsors that ensured that the Golfers had a wonderful time on and off the field. The perfect day of golf was rounded off by a fabulous meal and Auction that was followed by the prize giving. The day was a huge success and R 125 000 was raised for the Association and its projects. I would like to thank all the wonderful golfers who supported the day, I would also like to acknowledge our wonderful sponsors who contributed to making this day so enjoyable and successful. Lastly I would like to acknowledge De Zalze Golf Estate, our fantastic host, and the wonderful staff that made the day so enjoyable to host in their beautiful Estate.
